"Daylight" has an official release month, if not an official release day. A new preview video with Zombie studios head Jared Gerritzen on IGN surfaced on Sunday and in the interview he announced his game would be hitting the PC and PS4 in April.
The video shows a short play-through where the gamer is trying to find a way out of a dilapidated hospital and escape the enemies of the game. "Daylight" is described as a procedural generated thriller where you are attempting to escape from a coven of witches who want to first drive you insane and then kill you.
The aspect of the game that is supposed to grab users is the mechanics have been made in such a way that every play-through is slightly different. The survival horror also adds a number of different puzzles you have to solve in order to make your escape from various traps and dangers.
Zombie Studios is the same team that put together "Blacklight Retribution." As the release date for "Daylight" draws closer there are likely to be more game plays videos released and an official release date should be made public in the very near future.
