Saturday, Jan. 26, San Pedro Square Market starts the New Year as Save Alternative Radio (S*ALT ) and Current Magazine continue their series of live music in downtown San Jose. Grand Finali presents Daydream Nation, a monthly concert series solely intent on celebrating Bay Area music scenes and their fans.
This months installment has a decidedly folk-rock/American flair, as the free, all-ages show begins with San Jose's Dream House; a local, self-described indie, dream folk trio. Following Dream House, Chandelle brings their authentic, austere sound all the way from Nashville, Tennessee. Headlining the evening, the Bay Area's Northern Son goes Americana with a classic rock flair, ala Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen.
