Today marks the 4th day of 31 days of 80s horror on Netflix and today's pick is "Vamp." "Vamp" was released in 1986 and was directed by Richard Wenk. The film starred Chris Makepeace, Sandy Baron, Dedee Pfeffier, and Grace Jones.
This vampire comedy is about college students who go to a strip joint and find that the beautiful exotic dancers are actually bloodthirsty vampires. Grace Jones is the ring leader of the vampires. Sound almost like "Dusk Till Dawn" anyone? Or the film, "Bordello for Blood?" Anyway this offbeat vampire film is filled with camp, style, and blood.
It's somewhat of a cult classic vampire movie. For those who love 80s cinema and vampires should check it out. It's a movie that doesn't take itself serious so the viewer shouldn't take it serious either. It's a fun, vibrate, and "vampy" movie!
So "Vamp" is today's pick for 31 days of 80s horror! Happy viewing and below share your thoughts on today's movie pick in the comment area. Also anyone can share on what kind of 80s vampire movies that you think are essential for watching?
