Today's pick for 25 days of classic Christmas movies is "Gremlins." This 1984 film that was directed by Joe Dante is a fun little movie. Gizmo has to be one of the best Christmas presents a person can get, that is if one follows the rules.
Zach Galligan, Corey Feldman, Phobe Cates, and Dick Miller starred in this film about gremlins that attack a small town. It all starts with a mogwai named Gizmo and once the rules are broken the little town will never be the same. When "Gremlins," came out it was a popular time for horror comedies. It aslo was one of the reasons why the MPAA decided to create the PG-13 rating. "Rescue Dawn," was the first movie to get that rating.
"Gremlins," is still a very popular movie and for those who've never seen it better get to it! So while "Gremlins," is not streaming online which is no big deal because local video stores should have a copy! Rent it tonight to get some laughs and maybe even a little screams too! These little monsters aren't very nice not even around the holidays.
