See also

Today is the second day of 25 days of classic Christmas movies and today's pick is "The Bishop's Wife." What better than a Christmas movie with Cary Grant, David Niven and Loretta Young?

"The Bishop's Wife," was directed in 1947 by Henry Kosher and produced by Samuel Goldwyn. RKO Radio Pictures.had been the movie distributed.

The film is about an angel (Grant) who helps a stressed out Bishop (Niven) with his new cathedral idea and with his stormy relationship with his wife (Young) and daughter. The angel kind of teaches him about life and love again after being burned out by life and forgetting about his family and others around him. It's a classic!

In 1996 "The Bishop's Wife," had been remade into "The Preacher's Wife," which starred Denzel Washington, Whitney Houston, and Courtney B. Vance.

This movie currently holds a 7.5/10 on IMDb and can be currently rented online on Amazon for $3.99 (unless Prime Member) and at the moment it's not streaming on Netflix but maybe it'll be on there later this month!

So today take some time out of your schedule to watch "The Bishop's Wife," with your friends and family. It's a classic film that makes you laugh, cry, and reminds all of us to never forget about who we are and about the ones around us even with busy schedules.

Drop in tomorrow to see what movie gets pick for the 3rd day!
