Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell, who co-starred in the comedy films "Hit & Run" (2012) and "When in Rome" (2010), got married on Oct. 17, 2013. According to TMZ, the wedding was a simple ceremony at the Beverly Hills Courthouse in Beverly Hills, Calif.
The couple began dating in 2007, and got engaged in 2009. Their daughter, Lincoln Bell Shepard, was born in March 2013.
TMZ reports: "According to eyewitnesses, Kristen and Dax went to the clerk office just to get their marriage license -- but when a court employee offered to marry them on the spot, they agreed ... and conducted the ceremony in a nearby courtroom."
Bell, 33, first came to international fame as the star and title character in the 2004-2007 TV series "Veronica Mars," in which she played an amateur detective in high school. Bell is one of the producers of the "Veronica Mars" movie, which is due out sometime in 2014. She also has starred in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall," "Couples Retreat" and "Get Him to the Greek." Bell is also one of the co-stars of the Showtime series "House of Lies."
Shepard, 38, has also had several roles in Tv and movies. He used to be cast member of the prank TV series "Punk'd." Shepard's film credits include "Baby Mama," "Old Dogs" and "The Judge." He directed the movies "Hit & Run" and "Brother's Justice." Shepard also stars in the NBC drama series "Parenthood."
