Model, actress, sex symbol and television personality Anna Nicole Smith, died at the young age of 39 on February 8, 2007.
Vickie Lynn Marshall, better known as Anna Nicole Smith, gained popularity in Playboy. Smith was the 1993 Playmate of the Year.
Anna Nicole modeled for Guess jeans and Lane Bryant, and also starred in her own reality TV show, The Anna Nicole Show.
In Orlando, Florida, late that same afternoon [of February 8 , 2007], celebrity tribute artist, Dawnn Behrens was driving home and decided to check her phone messages as she always did. She was shocked to hear over and over messages that the her double Anna Nicole Smith life had come to a tragic end. In disbelief she repeatedly replayed the messages.

Finally, I turned on the radio to hear it was all true...I couldn't believe it. I kept thinking 'there has to be a mistake..'” - Behrens
As Behrens continued heading to her Orlando home she also continued to receive calls of condolences from around the country.

It was so surreal. People were calling me about Anna’s death it was like we were really connected somehow... When I checked my emails there were even more messages from across the globe all expressing sadness over the actress’ death.
It’s sad, but after Anna was gone it seemed like people finally gave her the attention and love she craved, a little too late"
Dawnn Behrens soon drew the attention of the Globe Magazine which featured her with an in-depth interview along with side photos of the real Anna Nicole. People could hardly tell the difference can you?
Behrens also came face to face with famed Doctor Joshua Perper who performed Anna Nicole Smith's autopsy. Although she was dressed as Marilyn Monroe for a show, Perper gladly posed for a photo with Behrens citing he could definitely see the resemblance between Behrens and the late starlet.

In addition to being a professional tribute artist, Behrens is also a model and actress in her own right. She has been cast as the late Smith for the not-yet-released comedy, Bamboo Shark, a regional commercial for Ricart Auto. She has also entertained guests, as Smith, with a comic song and dance number on stage for Busch Gardens Tampa.
Behrens, as Smith, continues to remain a highly requested attraction at many corporate and red carpet events in and out of the United States - Behrens entertained in Japan most recently!

let's just hope that ANS' "double" doesn't have the same penchant for taking things that don't belong to her via faux legal arguments that take decades to play out in court. (reference to ANS' (still ongoing) attempt to hijack her late husband's estate- despite the fact that he explicitly wrote her out of his will- via bankruptcy and tort litigation).
