David S. Goyer, screenwriter on the "Batman vs. Superman" talked to fans at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) about how far along they are on the movie and who he thinks would win in a fight between the two superheroes.
Mr. Goyer spoke at the BAFTAS on the fact that even though they love that the fans are excited about where the film may go, they do not take into account fans wishes because it "hinders the creative process."
Here is what Goyer had to say on their progress of the movie,
“One of the things that has been fun for us, is we’re a bit a further along than what I think people realize. From a fan point of view, you're conscious of that when you’re working on these things, but you can’t let yourself be paralyzed by that. At the end of the day you still have to create something. And if you try and think, ‘Well what would the fans like’ then you stop being creative. It’s sort of like where does it end? You have to write the story that you want to write, and hope that people want to see it.”
He also stated that event though fans always say that Batman would win in a fight between he and Superman because of his strategic methods but that Superman could just flick his finger and Batman would be done for.
With this news and the mysterious casting call for the strong female aged 25-33 that many think is Wonder Woman, fans are getting super excited about the movie that won't be released until 2015.
