David was amazing, as expected. He is an outstanding performer and did this show as part of his national headlining 2013 tour. He is not only talented, but comes across as a humble, nice guy that is very grateful for hus success.
In May, Nail released “Whatever She’s Got”, the debut single off of his forthcoming 2014 album and the single currently sits in the Billboard TOP 30. “Whatever She’s Got” was written by Jimmy Robbins and Jon Nite and is a song that Nail said he recorded for his wife, Catherine. He performed a great rendition last Friday at the Rodeo Club.
The Brothers Osborne were also fantastic. They come from a musical family and it shows. They are very fun to watch. Their music is aggressive, bold and fragile at times. Their musical influences are Merle Haggard, Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen to name a few. I predict great things for their future in country music.
We are very lucky in the Bay Area to have an amazing country radio station, KRTY. KRTY along with the Rodeo Club are responsible for bringing us great upcoming artists at very reasonable prices in an intimate venue.
This Wednesday another show is coming to the Rodeo Club. The artists set to perform are Jon Pardi and Cole Swindell. I am very excited to see these upcoming artists! Their music is fun and energetic, which should make for an outstanding live show.
Check out www.krty.com for more information on this and other upcoming shows.
