Olympians who are finished with competitions are trickling back to America to mingle with the fans. Three guys who made America proud might be pretty familiar on the latest Kellogg’s corn flakes box as they captured Olympic medals early on. Freeskiers Joss Christensen, Gus Kenworthy and Nick Goepper will be pictured on the limited-edition box, but apparently there was one more dude that went along for the ride. According to Joss Christensen on Thursday, that extra dude seen on the box is David Letterman. The trio of American athletes will be on the Late Show with David Letterman and it appears that the guys had some fun showing off their medals.

“Haha this is so awesome!! We got a fourth member to our cereal box, David Letterman! Check out the @LateShow tonight!” tweeted Joss Christensen from his official Twitter account on Thursday. Looking at the photo that was posted with the message, the Kellogg’s corn flakes box does have one more guy in the picture compared to what should be seen on shelves at the grocers.

The American winners who took home hardware are offering a glimpse of the shiny medals on television programs and late night talk shows. It seems like the athletes are getting a warm welcome as they show off the medals and talk about their journey in Sochi.

In the case of the Freeskiers Joss Christensen, Gus Kenworthy and Nick Goepper it appears that sharing the cereal box with one more dude isn't all that bad after all. Of course nobody asked if David Letterman if he was a good athlete and it is probably better that way.
