David Hasselhoff

July 17, 1952

Baltimore MD, USA

A fan recently requested a chart for David Hasselhoff. Specifically, this fan wanted to know if “The Hoff” will be able to lay off the sauce or if he will drink himself into demise. Let’s see if the stars have anything to say about what this inquiring mind wants to know.

With Saturn in Libra, we know that David always manages to find friction once he settles into romantic relationships. He’s a bit rigid and impatient. On a bright note, he is a wonderful friend. Saturn is also square Uranus. This placement is representative of repeat periods of unhealthy over-indulgences. To break this cycle, David would need to embark upon new adventures and avenues of interest and leave behind a handful of unnecessary commitments. This can be especially difficult for an individual continually guided (and oftentimes personally misguided) by managers, agents, publicists and fans. Travel and athletics would be smart ways for David to unplug.

Next, Neptune is found in Libra. Though relationships are eventually met with friction, David prefers being in a relationship over being alone. His relationships are spiritually based and not superficial. Feeling connected is important. With this placement, we also know that David loves his children dearly and also has a love for animals.

Mars is found in Scorpio in David’s chart. With this, we know David is a very driven man when it comes to work. He’s driven to the point of fault for there is a tendency to agree to too much or commit before thinking an opportunity through. Not only does he work hard, but he places his heart and soul into his work. He’s likely vocal about this with those he encounters. He is spiritual and it shows. Aside from spiritual, he is also rather sexually charged.

With Jupiter in Taurus, we know that David will continue to find success through career, even outside of the realm of performing. Investing and launching a new business are all in his stars. Expect David to try a new occupation altogether, but don’t expect him to abandon the old one!

The Moon is found in Gemini. David thrives in a thought provoking environment. He requires mental stimulation. The Moon is also sextile Venus. With this aspect, we again know how important his children are to him. Additionally, with this aspect, we know he is a genuinely kind person.

Next in David’s chart is Uranus in Cancer. With this placement of Uranus, we know David is an optimistic person, sensitive to others’ feelings. This is also the third aspect supporting the importance of his children. Uranus is also square Neptune. This tells us that David is a self-martyr, somewhat intentionally turning his back on endeavors that give him personal or spiritual satisfaction.

Also in Cancer, is the Sun. David is highly intuitive. He can judge a good character from bad in a split second. There’s also a warm, domestic side to him. It wouldn’t be out of character for him to mix up a batch of chocolate chip cookies or sing his loved ones a lullaby. The Sun square Neptune is an important aspect of the Sun in David’s chart. David needs to learn to pursue his personal and spiritual dreams.

In Leo, we find a variety of planets, beginning with Venus. Individuals with Venus in Leo are loving to a fault. They like to spoil their loved ones with grand gifts and gestures instead of with an outward showing of emotion.

Next in Leo is Pluto. This is a positive placement for creativity, but it also implies a bit of vulnerability.

Last in Leo, and last in David’s chart is Mercury. This is another positive placement for creativity. David is highly creative and will thrive in endeavors in which he is able to place his own creativity into use. With Mercury sextile Neptune, we know that David’s keen insights give him a knack for understanding and empathizing with others. He’s also willing to tread into deep subjects where others dare not. This can be used to his advantage to sway or help the masses.

Wrapping up “The Hoff’s” chart, is there anything indicating a recovery or a demise? Unfortunately, yes. David Hasselhoff’s birth chart is nearly identical to that of recently departed Patrick Swayze. Both are genuine, caring souls. Both are creative and talented spirits with another common aspect – alcoholism, which sadly oftentimes leads to more serious physical health issues.
