British-born and Grammy-nominated musician David Gray, perhaps best known for his hit record, White Ladder, announces release of his tenth studio album, Mutineers, set for release on June 17, 2014. To compliment the release, Gray is embarking on an eight-city theater tour in the U.S., which commenced in Los Angeles on April 24. The U.S. tour has completely sold out, with audience members lauding his most recent performances as some of the best they have ever seen.

It was a magical show, one of the best I've ever seen (fan on Instagram)

In celebration of the announcement of the Mutineers release, Gray released the video for "Gulls," the first track streamlined ahead of the album release. The song is a beautifully haunting melody, ripe with the harmony and lyrical genius Gray is known for. According to a press statement from Gray's team, the new album:

is a shift instantly audible upon its first listen. In addition to the change in tone, there’s a rising sense throughout the record of an artist liberated from even his own expectations.
