David Copperfield: Emergency plane landing left him 'freaked out' (Video)

David Copperfield admits to freaking out a bit after his plane was forced to make an emergency landing on Monday, March 4 according to Gossip Cop.

David Copperfield stated that he was in route to NYC for an appearance on the "Today Show" when his plan began making some pretty scary noises and was forced to make an emergency landing in Peroria, Illinois.

Doing what millions of people around the world Copperfield took to his Twitter page as the events unfolded posting,

“Emergency landing, “Everyone is ok. Emergency landing in Peoria, Illinois. So scary.”

He tweeted that there had been a “loud noise,” and after making it safely to the ground following the emergency landing, David Copperfield later filmed his "Today Show" segment via online communication service Skype and even played an audio recording of the noise he heard inside the plane’s cabin.

“I felt kind of freaked out,” stated Copperfield after the emergency plane landing.

David Copperfield is best described as the most commercially successful magician in history. Forbes magazine reported that Copperfield earned $55 million in 2003, making him the tenth highest paid celebrity in the world (earnings figures are pre-tax and before deductions for agents' and attorneys' fees, etc.). He earned $57 million in 2004 and 2005, and $30 million in 2009 in entertainment earnings, according to Forbes.

Copperfield still performs over 500 shows per year throughout the world.
