COMMENTARY
Many people in conservative circles believe David Brock is a dangerous man because:
>he is an accomplished liar, *
>he has media access,
>he is persuasive, and
>George Soros gives him millions of dollars to wage war on Fox News, conservatives generally, and America specifically.
David is president of Media Matters, another leftist blog pretending to do legitimate journalism.
David is described as a sharp individual who was allegedly once a conservative. It is curious reading about David here and there. He is frequently described as a former conservative. Apparently that is intended to demonstrate credibility. He once attacked the Left, so the Right gave him credibility. He now attacks the Right, so the Left gives him credibility. Does consistency have anything to do with credibility? Operatives driven by profit aren’t usually concerned about consistency, or credibility.
Notice in this 2002 Jon Stewart interview he casually admits that as a writer for American Spectator in his conservative days, he participated in a $2 million effort to dig dirt on Bill and Hillary Clinton.

“I’m a former, living, breathing, right-wing conspirator,” David says. Clarifying, David contradicts Hillary, saying the conspiracy was not “vast.” Rather, he objectifies, saying “it’s one guy in Pittsburgh,” after leaving the impression he participated in a vast conspiracy. Ah, the forked tongue revealed.
Today, he is a present, living, breathing, left-wing conspirator, up to his old tricks, taking millions of dollars from Soros to attack all things conservative. Recently, David declared war on Fox News, joining legions of other ‘objective’ reporters in the quest to destroy one of the few real news organization left in the country. (We can’t have any approach to objectivity in the age of activist everything!)
Contradicting himself, David now claims the rightwing conspiracy is vast, so he must declare war, for the common good, of course.
The bottom line, from the reading, (see articles listed below): David is today and forever a serious Leftist who has come out of the closet. The entire agenda is focused on buttressing Obama’s efforts to completely transform the U.S. into a secular socialist society, leading to a new world order. One new dimension to the Media Matters attack machine: Equality Matters, a division devoted to promoting the LGBT slate of causes.
The only way for David to achieve his goal is to first destroy Christianity, then insist the Constitution is a living document. That means, the Constitution can mean anything the powerful want it to mean, and so the acquisition of power is the main objective. While Soros works to destroy America from the financial side of the ledger, David has been commissioned to corrupt media, promote homosexuality, and attack Christians on every front.
But David is not dangerous. David is actually a friend of conservatism, albeit unwittingly. Universal principles working eternally always triumph. As they say, the grist mill of the Lord may grind slowly, but it grinds exceedingly fine. The bankruptcy of David’s ideas will be clearly demonstrated in days to come.
David is not dangerous because he suggests pushing water uphill by the sheer force of will, employing Alinsky tactics: ridicule, vicious attack and deception. People who do this always fail simply because universal principles always prevail. This also serves to explain why Obama is failing, miserably.
Students of history notice patterns. For example, have you ever noticed what happens to someone who comes up against Christ? He always fails. From day one Satan tried to destroy Christ. No dice. The Roman Empire tried to destroy him. Epic fail. Every group or individual lusting for world domination during the last 6,000 years has tried to defeat Christ. All complete failures. And people are concerned about David Brock? Please.
Secondly, although the Lord is slow to anger, he will not be mocked. (Galatians 6:7) Down through the ages the pattern repeats itself over and over. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob warns people to obey him, for their own good, and over and over, they thumb their noses, stiffen their necks and stick out the chin of defiance. Over and over they suffer the fruit of their rebellion. Few learn and the many descend into destruction.
Thirdly, as a simple matter of public opinion, liars and manipulators are always found out. This is why they operate in the shadows for as long as possible. This is why David Brock and his associates hate Fox so much. Fox shines the light, revealing the dark agenda at Media Matters. Declaring war against Fox is the only way to extinguish the light. Or so it’s believed at Media Matters.

You’d think the so-called smartest people on earth would have learned that by now, but apparently that ultimate truth continues to escape people like David Brock and George Soros.
Finally, David and George will ultimately fail because they violate the universal law of love. Love has nothing to do with selfish ambition, narrow political agendas or the lusting after power. Love is about seeking the highest good of the object of your affection. Love is selfless, sacrificial, God-breathed, restorative, unifying, healthy and peaceful. George and David are selfish, exploitive, atheistic, destructive, divisive, injurious and warlike. They will fail as all false prophets must when faced with universal Truth, for light has no fellowship with darkness:
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.” Jesus Christ (Jn. 1:5)
PS: A hint for David---American Christians don’t persecute homosexuals. Evidence? Western nations are havens for the LGBT community. Working to destroy American pre-eminence means you are working against your own best interests, for by weakening the U.S., you strengthen those who would hang you in a heartbeat in downtown Tehran, or Cairo. Just a thought…
