On Feb. 25 English musician David Bowie released an official music video for his single "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" on his VEVO YouTube channel. The story-line based video was directed by Floria Sigismondi and it stars Academy Award winning actress Tilda Swinton ("Michael Clayton," "Moonrise Kingdom"). You can watch David Bowie's official "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" music video starring Tilda Swinton below.
The video revolves around the seemingly normal life of an upper class married couple portrayed by Bowie and Swinton. They go grocery shopping and come across a tabloid magazine with models Andrej Pejić and Saskia de Brauw on the cover. On the magazine cover the two models are portrayed as out of control "stars". The rest of the video features Bowie and Swinton slowly losing their minds as the two famous people haunt their every move.
The song "The Stars (Are Out Tonight)" is the second single from David Bowie's upcoming twenty-fourth studio album, "The Next Day". The album is set to be released on March 12 via Iso Records/Columbia Records. The lead single from the album was "Where Are We Now?" and you can watch the official music video for that song here.
