David Blaine is channeling the classic sitcom "Friends." The engaged magician worked his magic on women Thursday night, but as he said Friday, it wasn't cheating.
According to Blaine, he and his Alizee Guinochet -- a French model who happens to be the mother of his 1-year-old daughter -- are on a break. Blaine was seen at the 46 Lounge in New Jersey on Thursday night, and fellow club goes noticed Blaine not just dancing very closely with some of the women during the evening, he also had his hands on some magical places.
A representative for Blaine said that "He and his fiancée have been on and off, but nevertheless he regrets his actions and is sorry if he caused her any embarrassment."
It's very similar to the classic "We were on a break" situation (embedded) in "Friends," which broke up Ross and Rachel for the first time. The couple broke up, at least in Ross' eyes, in season three, episode 15.
Later, Ross meets Chloe, who he knows from a copier store. They have a one night stand, which later becomes known to Rachel. While Rachel says that Ross's one-night stand with Chloe constituted cheating, Ross maintained that since they had broken up, no cheating had occurred.
As Ross continued to say for some time, "We were on a break." It became a running gag through the series.
It remains to be seen if Guinochet feels the same way Rachel did, or not.
