David Beckham signs with Paris Saint-Germain

English soccer star David Beckham has finally settled with a new gig. He will play for French club team Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Yahoo Sports reported that Beckham was presented at the French club's Parc des Princes stadium and made the announcement public on Thursday morning. There, the player told the French press that he has just signed a contract for five months.

At the press, the president of PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, stated that the club was very happy to have Beckham on board, and that the English player will be there until June 30.

David Beckham has just recently ended a six-year contract with the Los Angeles Galaxy. In LA, Beckham helped the club win two MLS titles and helped boost the popularity of soccer in the U.S.

Before that, the player had successful runs with Real Madrid in Spain and Manchester United in England where he also won silverware as well.

It is expected that David Beckham will debut with PSG at a home game on February 8.
