David Beckham, a former British soccer star is leading an effort to build a new stadium in Miami that will host a Major League soccer team. This stadium would also involve a larger commercial development that could bring jobs to Miami. At the very least it would bring more construction jobs to Miami. And it might improve the overall spirit of Miami, a city that has many soccer fans.

"I am in favor of this stadium. I think it will mean more restaurants and more restaurant jobs. I work as a server and maybe it will mean more opportunities for me," said Karla Simmons.

"I am happy to see a new stadium project because I work in the construction industry and this might mean more work for me," said Hector Gonzalez.

"This stadium will probably be good for Miami because it will mean more jobs," said Paula Morton.
