"I'm thrilled to be a member of the Kindle Million Club," Baldacci commented in a Nov. 9, 2011 Amazon.com press release. "EBooks are leading the way in more people reading and it's great to be part of this revolution."
With the recent release of Zero Day (Oct. 31, 2011) Baldacci began a new mystery series featuring John Puller, an investigator for the U.S. Army's Criminal Investigative Division. This nonprofit organization fosters family literacy in the United States by developing new literacy programs by expanding current ones. In collaboration with Feeding America,™ the Wish You Well foundation operates Feeding Body & Mind, a program that collects new and used books and then distributes them through the Feeding America Food Banks.
Baldacci’s Kindle Club membership was announced at the same time as that of Amanda Hocking and Stephenie Meyer. They join eleven previous club members – Stieg Larsson, James Patterson, Nora Roberts, Charlaine Harris, Lee Child, Suzanne Collins, Michael Connelly, John Locke, Kathryn Stockett, Janet Evanovich, and George R.R.
