Fans of former American Idol contestant David Archuleta are excited in anticipation of his soon to be released Christmas CD.
Todd Pennington, an Administrator at Archuleta Fan Scene is as expected a huge Archuleta fan. Says Pennington... "I have been waiting for this since Archuleta recorded “O Holy night” when he was only 13”.

Another fan Sanjana (who’s name reminds me of another Idol contestant Sanjaya) said “David Archuleta has a very soulful voice, and is great on Christmas songs which represents a time of love and happiness...He has done a great job on this album and I definitely think his fans including me will be impressed!”
One of his biggest fans is Jennifer Barry who is also a big fan, is looking forward to the new release .
Said Barry “I am very excited about the entire Christmas Album. The song he co-wrote, "Melodies of Christmas" is a great song that would be perfect to hear on the radio. It is very uplifting and really makes you feel the Christmas spirit.I have to say I have never been this excited for a Christmas album. This year David will make everyone feel Christmas more than they have ever felt it before.”

Archuleta’s album is reportedly set to be released on October 13, however, you can get the digital download starting October 9 at www.amazon.com. The songs include the standard Holiday favorites as the original song he co wrote titled Melodies of Christmas. he also joined in a duet of “Have yourself a Merry little Christmas” with Filipino powerhouse singer Charice Pempengco ,who rose to international fame through Youtube.
David, always the philanthropist has insired his Fan Club Team Archie to make it possible for fans who may not be able to afford to receive his new CD as a gift. Team Archie offers a program called "Gifting" which allows his fans to own his music–legally, when they can not purchase it, for whatever reason.
His fans on Twitter have also started a campaign called “Twitter Trending”. It starts October 13 at 7:00 pm. They are asking Archuleta’s fans to Tweet something positive about his new CD. This Tweeting should generate quite a buzz for the teen star.
Archuleta is still touring with fellow teen sensation Demi Lovato and his Christmas from the Heart Tour. He also continues to work with numerous charities across the world. Thanks for the nice article! One correction - I believe the TeamArchie Gifting program is run by dedicated fans. The money for gifting David's music to needy fans comes from other fans' donations and from auctions of unique and autographed David Archuleta items, some provided by David. It's a great program. I cannot wait for the album. I preordered the CD long before we knew anything about the album and I'm buying a download too so I don't have to wait to hear it!
oh my gosh! David is such an inspiration to the young and old. And I have already pre-ordered his Christmas CD...the snippets I have heard of the songs are amazing..what a bright future and force in the music world he will be.

I love this article and how well you summarize so much of what fans love about David Archuleta. I know he's still pretty new to the official music 'scene' but his voice is timeless and his heart is so happy and sweet. He's been performing much of his life despite the obstacles he's faced. David Archuleta is an amazing singer / songwriter...and I'm counting down the days, hours and minutes unless his holiday album "Christmas From the Heart" is released on Oct 13! I just love David's soulful / pop sound and he is just amazing in concert! I had the amazing opportunity this summer to meet David and is just as beautiful on the inside as the outside. He is constantly amazing me with his musical talent.

Wow! This is like wikipedia. You pretty much covered it all. But I guess if you're talking about David Archuleta there's so many wonderful things he's connected with. Anyways, I think that this young man has to be recognize for every single person here, there and everywhere, simply because he is one of a kind. Really, he is the real deal: talented, humble, sincere, sweet, did I say talented? amazing kid. I think people are tired of "smart pants" and David comes in with this fresh aired smile and his big heart. Enough. I'm in love with this kid and I will always be.

Just with David's voice alone makes it an awesome album, but the music, the orchestra is simply beautiful and Heavenly - perfect with David's vocals!! The original track "Melodies of Christmas", which David co-wrote is cleverly written and is very catchy. "What Child is This" and "Ave Maria" I believe are going to be Heavenly!!
