LOS ANGELES, California – Soccer star David Beckham and Victoria who is better known as Posh Spice, have a new daughter they have named “Harper Seven.”
Harper is the couple’s fourth child who will join their family’s three boys, Brooklyn, 11, Romeo, 8, and Cruz, 5.
So how did the couple decide on this rather unusual name? PEOPLE magazine reported the name Harper is an old English name that Victoria has always loved. The middle name of “Seven” was given since David’s soccer jersey number was seven when he captained the English National Team, Manchester United and because the couple considers seven to be a spiritual number.
Interesting too is that Harper Seven was born at L.A.’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on the seventh day of the week, in the seventh hour and on the seventh month weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz.

So will Victoria slow down now that she four little Beckham’s to look after? PEOPLE magazine also reported that throughout Victoria’s pregnancy she has launched her Victoria by Victoria Beckham dress collection.
Victoria told ‘Glamour UK’ she wouldn’t be taking much time off after Harper’s arrival saying, “Maternity leave – what’s that? My husband and children will always be my priority. But for me, what I do professionally doesn’t feel like a job.
