What began as a collaboration between two solo singer-songwriters has blossomed into one of the hottest acts in music.
Dave Yaden, a Grammy-winning songwriter who has performed with such acts as Joe Firstman, Josh Kelley, Lady Antebellum, One Republic, Eric Hutchinson, The Voice's Tony Lucca, John Mayer and Willie Nelson, to name a few, provides the fiery keys and musical improvisation that sets them apart.
Candace Devine, who has performed with the likes of Christina Aguilera, Tony Lucca, The Tubes, Survivor and Steven Van Zandt, provides the sultry voice and sexy stage presence.
When you put the two of them together, the entire chemistry changes and a new creation is born - the retro-soul stylings of David and Devine.
Recently, the band has been signed by International Creative Management (ICM), one of the biggest talent and booking agencies in the world. ICM is currently shopping them at SXSW on the strength of their new songs and amazing live performance. Saturday Night is burning up the charts on YouTube, while their latest, Get Up Everybody and Dance, is a pop radio smash hit in the making.
If you're lucky enough to live in Los Angeles, you can catch David and Devine during the March residency at the Hotel Cafe every Wednesday night from 10 p.m. to midnight. Each week they will have special guests performing with them.
Come out and see why America is falling in love with D&D.
