Dave Mustaine's autobiography titled "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir" has been released. The singer will be having a book signing at Borders bookstore in Long Beach on Monday, August 30th. The book is released by Harper Collins Publishers and the hardcover edition retails for $25.99.
A founding member of Metallica, Mustaine was officially fired from the band for his alcoholism and personal conflicts. But he went on to start the heavy metal band Megadeth. From 1985's Killing Is My Business . . . and Business Is Good to the most recent Endgame, with more than twelve album releases with Megadeth, Mustaine and the band have earned eight Grammy nominations and six platinum certifications.
In the book, Mustaine recounts the highs and lows of a life in hard rock. Mustaine is currently on tour with Megadeth until September and is participating in book signings in the cities he is doing in. The band will be performing at the Long Beach Arena later that evening.
