"My name's Dave Grohl. I'm a drummer," is reportedly how Grohl addressed fewer than 100 people Wednesday night at another surprise show, this time in Nashville, Tennessee. I have to imagine Grohl entering the establishment called, the Bluebird Cafe, like a cool breeze on a warm night, gliding up to the stage and chatting with patrons along the way. There was a camera crew on hand to capture the performance, perhaps filming for another documentary. If that's the case Grohl might be hitting up bars across the country, in a town near you.
It would be nice if Dave lent us a hint or a clue for the next impromptu show, Monday night the Foo Fighters surprised a D.C. audience. I guess for now we'll just have to live vicariously through the small audience at the Nashville cafe that got to hear the following songs as reported by The Tennessean: "Times Like These," "Big Me," "Friend of a Friend," "My Hero," "Skin and Bones," "Wheels," "Learn to Fly," "Ballad of the Beaconsfield Miners" and "Everlong."
