Dave Barnes, Flogging Molly, Josh Doyle and more this week

This week brings both Mardi Gras and Valentine's Day... but if you still need more reasons to party, here are a few:

Monday, February 11 – 8 off 8th: East Nashville Underground at The High Watt, 9p.m. – free. Featuring Kat Smo, Grass Roots Kids, The Future, Ravello, Roots of a Rebellion, Billy Swayze, Blackfoot Gypsies, and Bear Cub.

Tuesday, February 12 – The Classical Academy of Franklin Songwriters’ Night at The Franklin Theatre, 7p.m. – tickets range from $35 - $45. Featuring The Warren Brothers, Josh Kear, Jason Sellers, and Dave Barnes; with openers Ashley Brandenburg, Nathan Clark George, Lance Miller, and David Tolliver.

Wednesday, February 13 – Randy Reed & His Problems, Taylor Preston, Meghan Linsey, The Wailin’ Canes, and Mollyjohn & The Dreamboats at Exit/In, 8p.m. – $5 cover

Thursday, February 14 – Flogging Molly with Skinny Lister and David Hause at Marathon Music Works, 8p.m. – tickets range from $29.50 - $35.

Friday, February 15 – East Nashville Underground at The East Room, 9p.m. to 3a.m. – tickets are $15 for one night, or $25 for both Friday and Saturday. Friday’s lineup includes Vinyl Thief, All Them Witches, Alanna Royale, Machines Are People Too, Magnolia Sons, Cult Logic, and DJ Rate.

Saturday, February 16 – Josh Doyle with Sam Palladio at 3rd & Lindsley, 9:30p.m. – $5 cover

Sunday, February 17 – The Nashville Battle of the Bands at Rocketown, 4p.m. – $8 in advance, or $10 day of show. All ages welcome. Featuring Say I Won’t, Loveskrub, Rockwood Terrace, 32 and Falling, Andrew Varner, Ben Mathis, The Django Riders, Mike Rodgers, and Murdered in a Record Shop.
