Daughtry Releases Spring 2012 'Break The Spell' Tour Dates

Last night (Jan. 16) Daughtry announced on their official website tour dates for the first leg of their 2012 'Break the Spell' headlining tour. The North American tour will be in support of the bands most recent album, Break the Spell and some of the ticket profits will go to charity. Daughtry's first leg of their 2012 North American headlining tour begins March 20th in Buffalo, NY and concludes on April 30th in New York, NY.

Daughtry's first leg of their spring 2012 Break the Spell tour consists of 25 shows over a six week time span. Last night lead vocalist Chris Daughtry released a video via his Twitter account in which he talks about the upcoming tour. The video was shot in his home studio where the majority of Break the Spell was written. You can watch the video to the left.

Singer Chris Daughtry, guitarists Josh Steely and Brian Craddock, bassist Josh Paul and drummer Robin Diaz are excited to bring their bigger than life show into theaters across the country to provide an intimate experience for fans.

Daughtry is pleased to welcome special guest Nashville-based pop rock group SafetySuit whose new album These Times debuted No. 7 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Opening the show is singer-songwriter Mike Sanchez.

Daughtry is also dedicated to using its position to raise awareness about a number of charitable causes. For the "Break The Spell 2012 Tour," the band will help combat Africa's battle against malaria by donating $1 from every ticket sold to Malaria No More, a leading humanitarian organization determined to end malaria deaths in Africa by 2015.

Tickets for Daughtry's 2012 North American headlining tour go on sale over the next two weeks beginning Friday January 20th. For more information visit the bands official site: daughtryofficial.com
