Daughtry, Lifehouse coming to North Charleston Coliseum this summer!

Tour dates have just been released for the Daughtry/Lifehouse co-headlining tour and they are coming to Charleston! Daughtry and Lifehouse will play at the North Charleston coliseum Sunday, June7th. Tickets will go on sale on Feb. 6th with a presale on Feb 5th on Ticketmaster.

I am not a huge fan of arena shows but this should be a good show and worth the money. Daughtry did make a stop here on his last headlining tour back in 2007. It shows the state of the economy that he is now co-headling with a band like Lifehouse. Many big name acts are finding it hard to fill these large arenas. With ticket prices ranging from $60-90, I cannot say that I am surprised. The show is billed as Daughtry with special guest Lifehouse with opening band Cavo.

I think these two bands will draw similar audiences. Lifehouse has been growing in popularity over the past ten years and theior sound has evolved in that time. Lifehouse has a record coming out in February called Smoke & Mirrors from which their lead-off single "Halfway Gone" has been climbing the charts. Daughtry is a newer band with a sound popularized by bands like Nickelback. But these guys are also cominginto their own a little bit. After their hugely successful debut, they released their sophomore follow up album last summer Leave This Town.

Be sure to mark you calendars for this show as it isn't often that rock shows come to the Charleston area. Also, the local Top 40 Station, 95 SX will be giving away tickets in the near futre.
