A Virginia Beach, Va., woman, whose father is dying of cancer, is desperate for help - her father's three dogs all need to find a new home.
Currently, the dogs are able to remain at their dying guardian's home; the man's daughter visits the residence several times a day to provide them with care.
In need of new homes are:
- Fancy, a three-year-old purebred German shepherd who is described as "loving, playful, obedient, and loves attention," dog-friendly, indoor dog. Protective of her home and family, no cats.
- Maxie is a 5 1/2 years old Shepherd/Lab mix who is playful and "loves attention." Maxie is good with kids, but does not like to be crated.
- Flint, a nearly three-year-old purebred German shepherd who is still playful. Flint can be wary of strangers (needs a German shepherd experienced home) and is best in a household without kids.
The dogs do not need to be placed in a home together.
Anyone who can help with one, or all, of these dogs, is asked to email: firstname.lastname@example.org
