Examiner learned in a press release today that React Presents is bringing Canadian DJ and producer Datsik back to Chicago with his “Digital Assassins Tour” on Feb. 7 at the Concord Music Hall. Datsik is touring in support of his latest release the “Let It Burn LP Part Two” on his own Firepower Records, which is available on iTunes and as a free download on the artist’s Facebook page. Datsik is known for his bass heavy dubstep production style and has worked with artists including Nero, Benny Benassi and Diplo in the past.

Datsik will bring his one-of-a-kind Vortex Lumen DJ performance booth to the Concord Music Hall for the “Digital Assassins Tour.” The unique performance setup was created by V Squared Labs and is the epitome of cutting edge visual technology that incorporates real-time 3D mapping technology to create custom visuals and effects live on stage.

Datsik will be supported at the Concord Music Hall by fellow DJ Must Die.

React Presents is Chicago’s lead promoter of live electronic music. The company is at the forefront of Chicago’s reemergence as a major destination for the world’s best DJs and is known for producing the city’s annual Spring Awakening Music Festival at the historic Soldier’s Field. React Presents operates the Mid and the Concord Musical Hall in addition to working with many other Chicago venues.

Tickets for Datsik’s “Digital Assassins Tour” at the Concord Music Hall on Friday, Feb. 7 are on sale now at ClubTix.
