Have you ever dated a man that has it all? He’s good looking, successful, has money and women throw themselves at him constantly. He’s also self-centered and extremely confident. He can have any woman he wants and he’s had all kinds. Now, he’s dating you…so how do you make yourself stand out and not just blend in with the rest?
First of all, Get a life! If you already have one, make sure you keep it. Don’t immerse yourself into his lifestyle and forget all about your friends, your Margarita Thursdays or your Saturday morning Spanish lessons. Women tend to fall in love and all they want to do is spend time with the new object of their affection. Fight this urge! You want to create a little mystery and you also need to let this new man know that he is NOT the most important thing you’ve got going on in your life (even though you may feel like he is right now).
Secondly, Have a backbone. Now, that’s not to say that you should be rude and over the top, but make sure that you have an interesting and engaging point of view. A confident man may love to be told what he wants to hear, but he will remember the woman who did not do that, and instead, had her own opinion and didn’t care whether he liked it or agreed with it.
Last, but not least, Broaden his horizons. Confident, successful men will inevitably be the ones that take you to that exquisite restaurant you’ve never been to…or to that mind-blowing concert that you will never forget. But, once in a while, call him up and plan a date for him that’s something outside of his comfort level.
Take him ice-skating, or sky-diving, if he’s never been. You can even arrange for him to get a race car driving lesson from a pro.Cloud9 Living is a great site that offers you the opportunity to give ‘experiences.’ If it’s something that he would never have thought of, you can be sure that he’ll not only be impressed, but he’ll brag about it to all of his friends. He may even find himself talking more about you than he does about himself for a change.
