The annual Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics Tennessee will be held Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Nashville Shores. This fund-raising event promises participants that they will be "the coolest of the cool" as they dash into the frigid waters of Percy Priest Lake in the middle of winter because they will be "Freezin' for a Reason."

Individuals and businesses interested in participating are invited to register and set up their own internet fund-raising site here. Prizes, costumes, food and fun are all part of the festivities.
