Before it’s too late, start scheduling date nights. They’re a chance to escape for a while and remember why you got married in the first place. And, date nights don’t have to be complicated or expensive. The goal is quality (not quantity) time with your spouse.
Try a short drive and walk around Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater. Or, make it a dinner and movie night, without emptying your wallet, by visiting Elvis Cinemas. It’s not stadium seating, but for $3.50, it’s hard to complain.
If you want to really go all out in the romance department, plan a picnic. With parks galore in the Denver area, and with summer soon approaching, start lining up babysitters and set aside a couple of hours with your spouse. After a couple of dates, it will get easier to leave baby at home without the guilt.
