This season, deep bold jewel tones are rocking Music City. For the perfect date night, incorporate this trend but make sure the outfit pops with just one item, or else you will get lost in all that color.

Start out with a dress, or skinny jeans with a solid material, like the example above. This turquoise wrap dress is perfect for hanging out at honky-tonks as well as at a nice dinner. Note that the delicate ruffles along the bottom, accentuate but don’t over power; and the neckline covers up but the halter tie screams sexy.

Be careful with your cover-up. Spring nights can be pretty chilly in Nashville, so be prepared. This jacket compliments the outfit and can be worn with anything in your closet. Fringe is always welcome in Music City!

The boots are the star of this ensemble. Even though the heels are only three inches tall, the height of the tops elongates the leg. And the oh-so-cute cutouts fit right into the style of downtown Nashville. It looks like a cowboy boot, but all grown up. Plus, you can dance the night away without worrying about aching feet.

Accessories complete the look. The bold earrings and cuff are hammered silver and are a nod to the metallic heels of the boots. They provide just enough sparkle to generate interest but don’t shout ‘look at me’.

The bag stands alone and yet brings the whole outfit together. The shine of the black patent leather connects with the shimmer of the jewelry and the fresh white background of the animal print wakes up the eye. This purse is just large enough to hold all your necessities, but small enough not to make waves. It is the perfect accessory to this spring date night outfit.
