Unlike in past years the festival is doing something completely different when it comes to getting the free tickets. This Friday 7/15 at 10am everyone who likes the page www.facebook.com/VirginMobileLivewill need to click on the ‘Freefest” tab (on the left-hand side of the FB page under “Live Now’) and that’s where the tickets will be put on sale or as Virgin Mobile puts it: the tickets will be put “on free.” So far no presale information has been mentioned. But for complete information and the ability to access the tickets Friday make sure to like the Virgin Mobile Live Facebook page or check here: https://www.facebook.com/VirginMobileLive?v=app_174402785926020 or http://www.merriweathermusic.com/

But this year’s festival will no doubt feature some amazing live music but also many more fun events like in the past. Stay tuned on here for even more information and links to music from some of the artists playing this year’s Virgin Mobile FreeFest. But everyone owes Sir Richard Branson a huge thank you for not only keeping the festival in Maryland but keeping it in free. Because in this tough economy it should be music to everyone’s ears to be able to attend a music festival for free. Good luck with getting tickets FreeFest fans!
