Dashon Goldson will visit Tampa Bay, 49ers officially announce trades

Free agency has begun and quite a share of 49ers are making their first visits to other team facilities.

Dashon Goldson will visit the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, according to ESPN reporter Adam Schefter. Goldson became a Pro Bowler for the second consecutive year and played under the franchise tag last season. The 49ers opted to not us it this year which would have cost the team $7.45 million.

The 49ers also formalized the trade of Alex Smith to the Kansas City Chiefs for two draft picks, as well the trade acquiring Anquan Boldin from the Baltimore Ravens for a sixth-round draft pick.

Goldson isn't the only defender getting looks from other teams. Ricky Jean Francois and Isaac Sopoaga are both planning to visit the Philadelphia Eagles.

Sopoaga, a nine-year veteran, is also considering another disclosed team, according to a source. Jean Francois will visit the Eagles on Wednesday and possible the Indianapolis Colts, according to NFL.com.

UPDATE: Isaac Sopoaga has agreed to a three year contract with the Philadelphia Eagles, according to Adam Caplan. He will make about $12 million total.

Tight end Delanie Walker, a free agent who had three touchdown catches last season, was drawing a large interest from the Tennessee Titans, according to multiple sources. The Titans will most likely lose starting TE Jared Cook via free agency and have been looking for another one.

UPDATE: The Titans have agreed to terms with TE Delanie Walker, according to Jim Wyatt.

Meanwhile, Chiefs DT Glenn Dorsey expects to visit the 49ers soon.
