Darryl Worley gears for new single, says his new label 'feels like home'

Per a Jan. 30 media missive, hit-country artist Darryl Worley has signed a recording contract with Tenacity Records/Crazytown, which launched in Music City in 2011.

Word is that the philanthropic-minded Worley will release his first single, "You Still Got It," under his new record company's moniker in March.

"We took our time and made some music that I am very proud of," Worley told Nashville Country Music Examiner on Feb. 1. "We got great songs, great grooves and a whole bunch of hits."

Moreover, added the Tennessee-based singer-songwriter regarding his new label affiliation, "I finally found a label that feels like home. We all want to succeed and we all agree on how we should go about it."

As for label chief Mike Kraski, he, too, is excited that the platinum-selling Worley has joined his artist roster.

"I am thrilled to be working with Darryl." Kraski shared with Examiner.com. "He has tremendous artistic honesty and integrity, and as a result, his music has a profound resonance with the country music audience. Fans know genuine when they hear it and they always hear it with Darryl."

Granted, Worley has no shortage in the fan department, thanks to a proven track record of hits, such as "I Miss My Friend," "Have You Forgotten" and "Awful, Beautiful Life," all of which are former No. 1 singles.
