Darrin Robbins & The River highlights the Labor Day weekend entertainment at metro Atlanta country bars, clubs and honky tonks when they perform at Cowboys in Kennesaw on Saturday night (9/5).
The River originally formed in Valdosta before moving their base to Nashville. They bring a diverse blend of country, pop and rock to honky tonks, nightclubs, college campuses, festivals and other venues across the South. The group is frequently featured at Whiskey River in Macon.
Also this weekend you’ll find:
• Nashville singer/songwriters Fred Knoblock, Thom Schuyler and Kirk “Jelly Roll” Johnson at The Swallow at the Hollow in Roswell Friday and Saturday nights (9/4 and 9/5). Tickets are $15 for each show.
• A weekend lineup of local bands and special events at Wild Bill’s in Duluth; Wild West Bar and Grill in Holly Springs; and Ozone Bar & Grill in Covington.
