Darlene Haynes has been found dead with her 8 month old fetus ripped untimely from her womb. Police are, not surprisingly, treating Darlene Haynes' death as a homicide.
Darlene Haynes was about 8 months pregnant when last seen alive, on Thursday last week. Darlene's body was found on Monday after her landlord went to investigate reports of a strong odor coming from her apartment.
The body of Darlene Haynes was found dumped in a closet: the worst part of the story being that her abdomen had been opened and her unborn child removed. It is thought that the baby could have survived but would need medical attention.
Police are of course looking for who killed Darlene Haynes and the assumption is that whoever did either has the baby or has passed it on to another.
The truly appalling part of this crime is that it is not unique, such horrors have happened to others. Only last month Korena Elaine Roberts was charged in Oregon with a similar crime, cutting open Heather Snively so as to take her baby and killing her in the process.
Another similar case happened just over a year ago in Pittsburgh to a poor unfortunate called Kia Johnson.
In both cases the cause seemed to be the irrationally intense desire of a woman to have a child. Perhaps the same motivation that leads to baby snatching, but ratcheted up to a near insane degree.
At this point, until the police can tell us more, we'll just have to assume that the same abhorrence is what happened to Darlene Haynes.

Yes the worst part of this story may be that her BABY was ripped from her womb, but lets not over look the fact that she suffered head injuries this attack was not just about taking her baby from her it was personal. She may have mentally slow as her family has been quoted saying but she was a very sweet young girl who had a tragic life that ended even more tragically at the hands of another. I pray that they find this baby alive and safe. To the man who made the past few years of her life a circle of mental and physical abuse may you rot in hell.

Yeah, I feel like this one was done by a man. And maybe he removed the baby so police couldn´t determine who was the father (and the killer probably was). And the baby is probably now deceased as well.

I really dont think this woman who was found with the baby did it... I think maybe she was involved but something tells me the ex boyfriend did it... far to much of a coincidence for my taste.
darlene haynes was my best friend and she will always be my best friend wat happend to her is messed up and i hope her new born baby is found and ok and who eva killed her i hope u burn in hell .R.I.P darlene haynes
