Usually on Sunday the mood is more relaxed but with powerhouse sets by Orgone,, Cornmeal and Anders Osborne and, of course, the weekend’s host Dark Star Orchestra, it sent everyone home gratefully exhausted. It included a killer “Mr. Charlie” that was topped in the second set by a jaw-droppingly good “Viola Lee Blues.”

You know it’s been a good music festival weekend when you feel exhausted on the ride home on Monday yet have a smile pasted on your face.

That’s the sensation I had after my three days of Dark Star Jubilee. See ya next year!
