The DLC features five sets of weapon and shield combinations. Players will be able to access the equipment at the beginning, which should give them better stats than the default arrangement. You can find some images of the Black Armor Weapons Pack, along with some “Dark Souls 2” screens, in the slideshow to the left of this article. The list of weapon and shield sets can be found below:

  • Black Flamestone Dagger and Black Flamestone Parma
  • Yellow Quartz Longsword and Yellow Quartz Shield
  • Bound Hand Axe and Bound Wooden Shield
  • Homunculus Mace and Homunculus Wooden Shield
  • Transgressor's Staff and Transgressor's Leather Shield

The Black Armor Weapons Pack is limited to only the black armor and collector’s editions of “Dark Souls 2.” The former is a free upgrade for pre-ordering the software product while the latter has an official retail price tag of $119.99.

The two special editions have only been confirmed for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. Although the same game is also coming to the PC, the port won’t be arriving at the same time as the console iteration.

“Dark Souls 2” will be released by Bandai Namco Games for the PS3 and Xbox 360 in the United States on March 11th, Japan on March 13th and Europe on March 14th.
