Although the collector’s edition for “Dark Souls 2” was announced earlier this week, Namco Bandai Games did not confirm an official price tag. However, Amazon put up a pre-order page for the product on Sept. 20, potentially revealing amount of dollars required to purchase the special package of the open-world action role-playing game. You can pre-order the products from Amazon in the following link: "Dark Souls 2" collector’s edition.
According to the listing from the online retailer, the collector’s edition of “Dark Souls 2” will be priced at $119.99, which is twice the amount as the black armor edition. In addition to a copy of the regular version, the special package also features a Warrior Knight figurine that is 12 inches tall and weighs 16 ounces. Also included is a cloth map and hardcover art book. You can take a look at the collector's edition, as well as some screenshots from the game, in the slideshow near the top of this article.
The aforesaid black armor edition is a free upgrade for customers who pre-order the regular version of “Dark Souls 2.” The bundle includes a metal case, official CD soundtrack as well as a copy of the sequel to the first “Dark Souls” video game. The collector’s edition will include all the extras from the black armor edition.
Namco Bandai Games previously stated that “Dark Souls 2” will be released first for the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms on March 11. The PC version will then come out sometime later in the same month. The open-world action role-playing game is being developed by From Software, the same studio that formerly worked on “Dark Souls” and “Demon’s Souls.”
