New details have been revealed in regards to the balance changes being made in the 1.04 patch for the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the multiplatform video game, “Dark Souls 2.” According to a report from Gamepur on April 9, From Software decided to change some of the speed, damage and other attributes for select weapons. The twin blades, for example, will be getting an increase in durability as well as a decrease in degradation at the same time.

Some of the enemies, as well as the bosses, are also going to be weakened in the 1.04 patch. Although From Software deliberately made “Dark Souls 2” to be challenging, it appears that players were having more trouble than anticipated when trying to take on some of the epic battles. From Software has already released several patches in regards to the upcoming action role-playing game. One of the title updates managed to fix an exploit that allow players to skip through entire required sections of “Dark Souls 2.” The online multiplayer issues were also addressed.

The PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of “Dark Souls 2” were published by Bandai Namco Games when both were released in North America on March 11. The same title is also coming to the PC later this month on April 25. The computer version features many enhanced graphical options that can’t be found on the current-generation consoles.

Players will be able to adjust the texture and lighting quality elements, which were downgraded in the console iteration. Furthermore, “Dark Souls 2” on the PC supports 1080p and a frame rate clip of 60 frames per second. With no plans for a potential port to the PS4 and Xbox One, the sequel should look best while playing using a powerful computer.
