Everyone’s favorite Louisana “Bayou Butcher” will soon be returning to wreak havoc in Hatchet 3.
This latest entry is written and produced by creator Adam Green who delivered the first two fun entries in the series, but is handing over the directing duties this time around to BJ McDonnell, a veteran camera operator on such films as Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter and Hatchet 2, making his directorial debut.
Danielle Harris and Kane Hodder return to the series, with Derek Mears (Friday the 13th), Caroline Williams (Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2), Sean Whalen (People Under The Stairs) and many more.
Hatchet 3 follows a search and rescue team as they head into Victor Crowley’s swamp to pick up the pieces. Meanwhile, Marybeth has learned a secret that could possibly end the curse forever. Beware the swamp Victor Crowley is back and is sure to be ready to bring the pain and buckets of blood along for the ride.
This latest entry hits theaters in limited release on June 14th, but you can get a sneak peek at the first teaser trailer right here now.
