For the 13th day, President Obama has kept the public locked out of the White House. The current tenant decided Washington does not have enough funding to operate tours because of the 2% cut to the deficit. Rush Limbaugh calls the move a deliberate attempt to make any cuts to government spending as visible and as painful as possible.
On Tuesday, Limbaugh trashed the GOP Establishment moderates for being duped by Democrats to move to the Left to attract voters. Democrats are telling Republicans that they must be more inclusive and change their policies to be more in line with their own to attract voters. Rush points out the fallacy in this, that if Republicans are going to adopt Democrat policies then they may as well become Democrats.
Rush says GOP being duped by Democrats to destroy themselves
Senate Majority Leader Reid (D-Nev.) made a statement linking the deaths of seven Marines in an accident to the sequestration cuts. Bill O’Reilly and Bob Beckel debated the statement he made and Beckel denied that Reid actually said the sequester cuts caused the accident. Beckel’s attempt to confuse O’Reilly quickly fell apart as Bill would not be dissuaded from Reid’s intent.
This is how Reid, Obama, and people like Beckel get people to believe something wrong while leaving themselves wiggle room to claim they didn't say that. They deliberately use implication and innuendo, obfuscating the issue so they can claim innocence when people reach the conclusion to which they were led. Then they say you are arguing semantics to confuse and mislead people, deceiving others as to their true intentions.
