There may only be two weeks left before Phoenix Comicon 2014 kicks off in downtown Phoenix, Ariz., but the guest announcements keep on coming! The latest ‘big’ name added to an already impressive guest list is actor Danny Glover.

Glover, who starred in films that include the Lethal Weapon series, Places in the Heart and The Color Purple, is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador and the recipient of a Lifetime Achievement Award from Amnesty International.

Also in attendance will be:
• Actress Amber Benson. Known for her role as Tara in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer television series, Benson is the author of the Death’s Daughter series.
• Actor Manu Bennett. Now on Arrow, Bennett portrayed Marc Anthony on Xena: Warrior Princess and was the only cast member to appear in all three seasons of Spartacus: Blood and Sand and its prequel Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
• Actor Cary Elwes. Elwes appeared in The Princess Bride, Francis Ford Coppola's Bram Stoker's Dracula, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, the Quest for Camelot, and Saw and Saw 3D: The Final Chapter.

Phoenix Comicon runs June 5 – June 8 at the Phoenix Convention Center and nearby hotel venues. For information on membership purchases, click here.
