Danny Faulkner demands airtime on "Cosmos" for creationists

On March 20, 2014, Danny Faulkner of Answers in Genesis and the Creation Museum made an appearance on the Janet Mefferd Show to complain that Neil deGrasse Tyson's revival of Cosmos will not provide airtime for Creationism adherents.

"Creationists aren't even on the radar screen for them," Faulkner complained. "They wouldn't even consider us plausible at all."

Mefferd, who is still presumably pining to be Senegalese, agreed that the show isn't being very fair and balanced: "Boy, but when you have so many scientists who simply do not accept Darwinian evolution it seems to me that that might be something to throw in there, you know, the old, 'some scientists say this, others disagree and think this,' but that’s not even allowed."

"Consideration of special Creation is definitely not open for discussion it would seem," Faulkner added.

Back in that pesky little thing called reality that Danny Faulkner and Janet Mefferd so greatly detest, there is a good reason Creationism is not being given consideration: It has zero basis on actual facts.

As Bill Maher once said, "you don't have to teach both sides of a debate if one side is a load of crap."

Or, to quote another notoriously obscene comedian who identifies as 2 the Ranting Gryphon, "by saying religion is scientific enough to teach in science class, you're also saying science is spiritual enough to teach in Church."

I believe that's a fair compromise: Danny Faulkner can have time on Cosmos when Bill Nye gets to deliver a lecture in place of the Sunday Mass.
