Few Hollywood marriages last, but Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman have been a true industry rarity. That is why it was so disappointing to so many when their split was announced last fall after over 30 years of marriage, and over 40 years together. However, their fans just may be able to stop their fretting according to a RadarOnline article dated Friday, March 15. The report says that the long-term couple has been quietly working through their marital issues, and are set to call off their divorce completely.
RadarOnline says that Danny DeVito, 68, felt he just couldn’t live without soulmate Rhea Perlman, 64.
Reportedly the funny guy has spent the last five months being serious about reviving his marriage.
“Danny has been moving heaven and earth to win Rhea back, and it has worked,” a source close to them shared. “He pampered her and made sure she felt special again."
“It was a necessity, Danny kind of took Rhea for granted for a few years and their marriage went stale because of that. But now it's on the mend,” continued the source.
“They rarely did anything together and he was distracted with filming It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which meant their marriage took a hit. Danny hasn’t got a better friend on this planet than Rhea. They are the perfect couple, share the same playful sense of humor and were made for each other. Danny is doing everything he can in his attempts to win back Rhea,” concluded the source.
Earlier reports had brought speculation that they were working through their struggles, and at the time, DeVito even told the media that he and Rhea were “good.” It hadn’t yet been confirmed if they were back together or not, but it was obvious that they weren’t completely through. Recent reports lead fans to believe that things are only getting better between the pair with time.
DeVito and Perlman have three children together.
