Record producer Danja released a new remix of Britney Spears' song "Hot as Ice" on Saturday. As a throwback to Spears' 2007 album "Blackout," he put out the previously unheard mix along with a few other demos.

Danja produced a majority of the songs on Spears' album "Blackout," a fan favorite among her discography. Following "Blackout," the two worked together again on a few songs from 2008's "Circus." He recently cut a track for last year's "Britney Jean" album but it did not end up making the tracklist.

In his throwback video, Danja shared some of his work with Britney that did not make her aforementioned albums. He first played a "Circus" demo and followed it up with an instrumental track meant for "Britney Jean." At the 8 minute mark, Danja released his special remix of "Hot as Ice." The original version Danja produced for "Blackout" has a glitch-y video game feel to it. His new mix gives "Hot as Ice" more of a hip-hop club sound. It's certainly a new way to experience an old Britney favorite.

At the end of the video, Danja expresses his hope to work with Britney Spears on her next album. They have created some magic together in the past so it would be exciting to hear them team up again. Spears' most recent album "Britney Jean" was released in December of last year.
