Danielle Staub: Seeks psych help, quits stripping job

Ex Real Housewives of New Jersey star Danielle Staub tells People Magazine that she has had second thoughts about her reported Scores stripping job and will now seek psychological help due to issues she has rooted in childhood sexual abuse.

Staub states that she has issues with low self-esteem and love addiction and that she was "coaxed" into signing with Scores by past handlers.

"My low self-esteem derived from childhood sexual abuse has messed with my mind and self-worth, and over the years I thought about getting help but pushed it deep into the depths of denial," she says. "For years I have had the suicide hotline on my cell phone and would like nothing more than to free myself from this constant pressure."

Staub will appear in the new VH1 series Famous Food, a 10-episode reality show slated to premiere in the fall, which will give seven celebrities the opportunity to open a West Hollywood eatery.

"Seeing how I have hurt myself and my family this time," she continues, "I can no longer push it behind me."

Update: Reportedly, Danielle has reached out to Celebrity Rehab and Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew's Dr. Drew Pinsky for help.
