Danielle Nicole made an appearance on Oprah for the “O You” event held October 15, 2011 in Atlanta. The event included readers of Oprah Winfrey’s "O, The Oprah Magazine" and well-known experts Suze Orman, Dr. Oz and Nate Berkus. The “O You” event inspired attendees to think about their health, spirit, body, style and finances in an inspirational and uplifting forum. As part of the event, handbag designer Danielle Nicole had been asked to design a special “Sydney Shopper Tote” exclusively for Oprah and the event.
Danielle Nicole: “Meeting Oprah and having the chance to chat with her about my career was an experience I will never forget. My mother loves Oprah, and I grew up watching her show, so to be able to see her IN PERSON was truly amazing. Seeing first-hand how much she had influenced the lives of the over 5,500 people in that room-I was overwhelmed with emotion.”
Danielle Nicole made 5,500 tote bags for Oprah and her guests at the “O You” event. Oprah even took the time to personally thank Danielle Nicole and autograph one her totes. Danielle Nicole had been working on the special “Sydney Shopper Tote” for the past year and has been overseeing production of the handbag in China in order to ensure the highest quality standards for her handbags.
